International Craft Day (also known as World Craft Day) has been marked on 15th October every calendar year to acknowledge world crafts and the tireless work of millions of craftspersons & artisans across the globe. The day saw Craft Displays, Craft Shops, Craft Workshops, Interactive Sessions, Folk Music, and Traditional Food.
The 1st International Craft Day 2016 was inaugurated by His Excellency Tomasz Lukaszuk, Ambassador of The Republic of Poland, and the 2nd International Craft Day 2017 was inaugurated by Late Dr Ghada Hijjawi Qaddumi, Former President, World Crafts Council-International in the presence of dignitaries from across the world.
International Craft Day captured people’s imagination to link and associate with rare crafts. through a montage of planned activities. The day also provided an opportunity for like-minded individuals to come together, share & learn, and give back to society. A universal platform to learn and appreciate craft forms of India and the world.
Craft Village has been instrumental in marking 15th October as the “International Craft Day” (also known as World Craft Day) to celebrate global arts and crafts. The day is dedicated to the Craft Community, Patrons, Organisations and Countries.
